First off, let me be state that I unequivocally, unreservedly LOVE America! It’s the best country in the world, and I would never ever want to live anywhere else….In fact, i could have and will soon write a blog about what’s RIGHT with America, because we have so much compared to so many other countries….But I have been writing a series of interconnected blogs about how America came into being as a nation state….We started by exploring our links to the Golden Age of Greece, whose fundamental ideals of morals and philosophy inspired and were copied and expanded by the creative genius of the Renaissance artists….

This brilliant nascent philosophy of hope, love and introspection was further refined and modified by the practical applications of the scientists, inventors, and mathematicians of the Age of Enlightenment and culminated in an expose of the Robber Barons, ruthless men who shamelessly exploited all the new technology at the expense of the suffering working class, forcing men, women and children to work for dirt wages and long hours and live in filth and squalor in tenements while they luxuriated in their lofty, extravagant mansions….And now their successors have arrived and are making their own bid for power….

But now we have come full circle….It is an election year in the United States, and never has there been more of a clear cut danger to the fundamental liberties, rights, and freedom of choice to the average Americans as there is this year…The modern day equivalents of the-gilded-age Robber Barons are rearing their ugly heads once again, and the danger to America has never been so great since the country was founded…

A small group of super wealthy Americans, the much reviled and hated 1% who control 99% of the world’s wealth are on a mission from the depths of their black hearts to overthrow all that is good, decent and particularly unique to the American system by their manipulation of the democratic system….These right wing fascists are poised to hijack the American democratic system by injecting massive amounts of cash into the election campaign in order to ensure politicians favorable to their extreme right wing viewpoints are elected….…

According to the conservative Huffington Post: “The advertising crush is being driven in large part by big-spending independent groups, including super PACs and nonprofits, which are on pace to set a record for independent spending in a midterm election cycle. The groups are set to spend more than $600 million — double their expenses from the 2010 elections. Super PACs accounted for $332 million in spending through the end of October, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

Massive contributions from the wealthiest Americans, large corporations, dark money nonprofits and labor unions are behind this super PAC spending binge. A review of Federal Election Commission records by The Huffington Post found that 140 donors who gave more than $500,000 each to super PACs accounted for $365.5 million in super PAC donations as of Oct. 15 — 61 percent of all super PAC contributions in the 2014 cycle.

.The top donor to these unlimited money groups is Thomas Steyer, the billionaire environmentalist and former hedge fund executive. Steyer launched his own super PAC last year as part of an effort to elect politicians who will act to slow climate change.. Steyer is approaching the $100 million given by casino oligarch Sheldon Adelson and his family in the 2012 election. This big giving is part of an emerging trend of Democratic-oriented mega-donors dominating the disclosed unlimited money scene.

Overall, mega-donors giving solely to Democratic Party groups pumped $228.4 million into super PACs, or 62 percent of the total, compared with $109.6 million for Republican mega-donors. This is a significant change from the 2012 election. At this point in 2012, Republican mega-donors were the source of 61% of all contributions over $500,000.

By no means does this mean Democrats are winning on the independent spending front. Republicans are buoyed by spending from dark money nonprofits. These groups are not bound by disclosure laws, so it’s impossible to know the size or number of mega-donors giving to them. Some, like the Koch brothers and Adelson, have been reported to be behind millions in undisclosed spending.

The influx of Democratic mega-donor money has helped the party close the gap in independent spending as it works to protect its Senate majority in a tough election. According to the Center for Responsive Politics, Democratic-aligned groups accounted for just 28.2 percent of all independent spending by non-party groups in 2012, while Republicans made up 69.4 percent of spending. So far in 2014, Democratic groups capture 38.9 percent of the independent spending and Republicans are down to 54.3 percent.

Of the 95 individuals donating to super PACs, 34 are billionaires. These plutocrats favor Republicans.. In addition to Adelson (and the notorious right wing brothers) Charles and David Koch, Republican billionaire super PAC mega-donors include Paul Singer, Joe Ricketts, Joseph Craft, Robert McNair, Warren Stephens, Jerrold Perenchio, Ken Griffin, Linda McMahon, Seth Klarman, B. Wayne Hughes, Daniel Loeb, Paul Foster, Diane Hendricks, Julian Robertson, Richard DeVos and his family, Bernard Marcus and Robert Rowling.”

These people listed above are the new Robber Barons, and they are just as ruthless and exploitative as their predecessors…They are trying to subvert the very principles and precepts this country was built on by buying the election, by spending vast amounts of their ill gotten cash to ensure their bought and paid for candidates are given maximum publicity, by trying to fool the American people through a careful manipulation of facts through heir well paid network of spin doctors, apologists and sell outs...

They are the new American fascists, and unless enough Americans wake up and smell the coffee, they will succeed in wresting control of the country from decent Americans by subverting the democratic process through legal loopholes in the upcoming elections....They work in the murky, shadowy, smoke filled backrooms of the seats of power, and they hatch their decidedly un-American schemes of political domination, self righteous priggery and fascist schemes of  American and world domination, all in the name of greed and their insatiable lust for power…They make sure easily controlled buffoonish clowns like Donald Trump, Mike Huckabee, Scott Rubio and Jeb Bush as Republican candidates get maximum publicity and fund raising.

In September, Chevron Corp., the oil giant, made a $1 million donation to the Congressional Leadership Fund, a super PAC dedicated to electing Republicans to the House. The Republican-led House has worked hard to roll back Environmental Protection Agency regulations of greenhouse gas emissions and to protect oil and gas company tax breaks. One House committee has gone on record refusing to acknowledge climate change.

Wake up America! This is madness! The neo fascists like the Koch brothers are trying to hijack the entire Democratic process by pumping in vast amounts of cash to elect their puppet Republican representatives to support their extreme right wing political agendas! Don’t be a sheep, think for yourself…These wealthy Republicans and their secretive fascist financial backers and puppet masters are traitors to America and the democratic tradition!

These super rich Robber Barons don’t give a damn about you, me or America…They are only out for themselves so they can increase their already obscene riches…Their agenda only benefits their own greed and lust for power; vote Democratic and stop the madness before it is too late!

Remember, “Never ask for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee.” Stand up and be counted as a true American instead of becoming a blind, helpless, powerless chess piece in their fascist attempt to take over America…..The time is now, and now is the time….It may be our last chance to save America….
